Meeting on how to implement Residential Housing’s Design standard, Darde Architects

    On 26th, July, 2011, The people's Republic of China Ministry of housing and Urban-Rural Development, coordinated with The people's Republic of China State Administration of Quality Supervision Inspection and quarantine to issue residential housing’s design standard （GB50096-2011） as the new national standard that will be officially executed on 1st, AUG, 2012. In order to implement this specific standard correctly and improve all staff ‘s skills on innovative and constructive ability towards residential sector, promote the progressive of technology, realize the sustainable development on residential sector, our architects practice actively popularizes this new standard to all staff by holding a particular meeting on 27th, APR. No staff is absent from that meeting, however, hoster clarified these revised categories one by one, kindly reminded everyone what kind of notice or rule are worth paying more attention .

    New standard highlights the theme —based on putting people first , highlighting design requirements on residential sector.  Related departments add more professional new contents in accordance with such demands as comfortable, safe, sanitation,  economy, energy-efficiency, at the same time,  emphasizing the multiple coordination in residential sector between different expertise to form a complete standard documentary in residential design technique. The ultimate goal is to correctly guide the design and construction projects  on residential sectors, especially the mid-and small- housing scales on residential sectors. Moreover, revised contents in this standard this time are involved in many sectors like new concepts, regulations.

    Given that the constructive requirements for residential housing is very comprehensive and extensive, the last publishment of residential housing’s design standard is more than 7 years.  With those recent 7 years,  our residential housing market has been developing so fast,  also the residential quality has been improved a lot, which causes some clauses are unable to adapt current status and. Those clauses must be revised or supplemented with new contents. 

    New codes or regulations have been published in recent years which changed more or less in expression or index sectors. For avoiding some contradictions in implementation government needs to regulate this standard. Based on obeying our corporate value-----imagination for life, our architects office will resist on implementing this standard strictly so as to deliver better service to our clients.
